VIKING FESTIVAL of MOESGAARD

The viking moot offers a wealth of activities. Archery is especially popular, and so are the warriors and horsemen, who demonstrate their skills on Saturday and Sunday at twelve and three o'clock. The warriors cross swords in formidable battles, incited by a cheering crowd. Horsemen on Icelandic horses ride in procession, and the most daring plunge into wild rides.   Naturally, original viking fare can be sampled at the market, and the pleasant smells of meals cooked over open fires tempt the visitors to become aquainted with the Viking cuisine.
